DAY 2 (22nd Jan) | DESIGNING FUTURE
01:00 PM - 02:30 PM (IST)
Seeking Disruption. From Industry or Education?
There exists a conundrum in the design profession. At one end design teams in the industry look for disruption from the young designers coming in, breaking monotony and the complacency. And on the other end, with the number of design students increasing, the institutes are looking at job-proof designers and design courses. This job-proofing leads to minimizing risk, idealism and vagueness - critical ingredients for disruption.
In this session we have 2 design academics and 2 design-preneurs, discuss what is needed to keep the balance in favor of disruption.
(Speakers: Sanjay Jain, Indrani De Parker, Utkarsh Biradar, Shashank Deshpande)
02:45 PM - 03:45 PM (IST)

We will also discuss the debate around the world heading towards Open innovation Vs Patent driven innovation.

To Converse is Human

Is it true that ML and AI are remarkably making our experience with devices better?
In this session we explore these and many more questions around the buzz behind the words !
